1. Welcome (and the Fine Print That Matters)

Welcome to Frozen Ferret LLC. By browsing this site, placing an order, or working with us in any way, you’re agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Nothing mysterious here—just the rules that keep everything running smoothly on both sides.

If you don’t agree, that’s completely fine—just don’t use the site or place an order.

2. What We Make (and Why It’s Never Cookie-Cutter)

Frozen Ferret LLC creates custom, handcrafted products. That means:

No two pieces are exactly alike
Natural materials, finishes, and processes may vary slightly
What you receive will closely match your approved design—but it won’t be stamped out by a machine

Those small differences? That’s the craftsmanship, not a defect.

We also reserve the right to decline any project if it’s not a good fit.

3. Orders & Payment (The Starting Line)

Payment is required before work begins unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing
Some projects may require a non-refundable deposit
No payment = no production (simple as that)
We may cancel and refund any order before production starts

4. Proofs, Approvals & “That Looks Good to Me”

For custom work, we often provide proofs or mockups.

Here’s how that works:

You review everything carefully—spelling, layout, colors, details
Once you approve it, we move forward
After approval, changes may not be possible or may come with added cost and time

Approval is the green light. Once it’s given, the train leaves the station.

5. Your Content, Your Responsibility

If you send us logos, images, text, or designs:

You confirm you have the legal right to use them
We’re not responsible for checking ownership or permissions
If there’s ever a legal issue tied to what you provided, you agree to cover us

6. Production Time (Good Work Takes Time)

Every timeline we give is an estimate, not a guarantee
Custom work varies depending on complexity and workload
Occasionally, life happens—material delays, order volume, etc.

If something significant comes up, we’ll keep you in the loop.

7. Shipping (Once It Leaves Our Hands)

Shipping time is separate from production time
Once your order is handed to the carrier, it’s in their system
We’re not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or shipping mishaps
Double-check your shipping info—incorrect addresses are on you

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations (Let’s Be Clear)

Custom Orders

Custom items are built specifically for you, which means:

No returns or refunds unless we made a mistake or the item is defective

Non-Custom Items (if applicable)

May be returned within [Insert #] days
Must be unused and in original condition
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Let us know within 5–7 days of delivery
Send photos so we can make it right
We’ll decide the best fix—replacement, repair, or refund

9. The “Ghosted Order” Clause

If we’re waiting on you (approval, info, responses) and don’t hear back for [14–21 days]:

Your order may be considered abandoned
Payments or deposits may be forfeited
We may cancel the project and move on

We’d rather finish your project—but we won’t chase it forever.

10. Our Work Stays Ours (Mostly)

Designs, layouts, and creative work we produce remain our property unless otherwise agreed
You can’t reproduce or resell our work without permission
We may photograph and share completed projects for marketing (no sensitive info, just the work itself)

11. Creative Interpretation (Where Craft Meets Vision)

You bring the idea—we bring it to life.

We aim to match your vision as closely as possible, but handcrafted work involves interpretation. Slight variations are part of the process and not considered errors.

12. Liability (Where the Buck Stops)

To keep things reasonable:

We’re not responsible for indirect or consequential damages
If something does go wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us

13. No Over-the-Top Guarantees

Everything we provide is delivered “as is,” within the bounds of quality craftsmanship. No exaggerated promises—just solid work done right.

14. If Something Legal Happens

If your actions (or submitted materials) cause a legal issue, you agree to cover and protect Frozen Ferret LLC from any resulting claims or costs.

15. Home Turf

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.

16. Updates (Because Things Change)

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, the updated version applies moving forward. Continued use = acceptance.
